Nesting Die Tutorial

Hello! I'm here today to share a fun way to use the Stacker Nesting Dies and the Silver Stacker Layers from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Here you can see the cutting edge of the Classic Coved Rectangle Stacker Nesting Die.

To create the base of the card, I placed my folded piece of cardstock on the die with the folded edge next to NOT OVER the cutting edge. By keeping the fold inside the cutting edge I am able to keep my cardstock in one shaped piece! I avoided any shifting of the cardstock by taping the cardstock to the die.

To create the frame, I used two similar sizes of the Classic Coved Rectangle Silver Stacker Dies. These dies have fabulous marking in the center of the die which are in incredible help in aligning the dies. Just match them up and away you go! Once I had mine aligned, I taped them to the cardstock to prevent shifting while I cut.
Tadaaa!!!

For fun and texture, I added the Lattice #2 to the backside of the frame and trimmed off the excess before adhering the full piece to my card. I added texture and ambiance to the card with the Petite Hearts XL Embossing Plate. The Anastasia Border added the prefect amount of elegance to dress it up. The rose and leaves were cut using the Build a Flower #2 die. Darling Daisies are the prefect accent flower. With Olive Branches and a Mini Fanciful Flourish tucked in. Also added is the smallest of the Two of Hearts, and a mini Exotic Butterfly.
